Not every pet sitting visit is the same. Sometimes there are special circumstances that result in special needs. Please call me to discuss any pet sitting requirements you may have - even if it's out of the ordinary. In most cases, we can work something out. Marlene Ferguson 315-483-6391

ZUMBA!

Well, you missed the first Zumba class tonight… what a riot! There were quite a few ladies there (about 12-15) and we were all looking pretty good (ha ha). I was in the front row because everyone else grabbed the back of the room!… so when we were shakin’ our grove thing… guess who was one of the ones in view! Yup…

Anyway, just so the kids wouldn’t miss me, I stopped in before class AND after. Oh yeah… earlier I got some of the catnip out of the catnip bouquet (it was in the basket so I figured it was ok to give them) and Simon LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! When I came back after class, he walked over and sat next to the scratch box.. waiting (that’s where I put the catnip earlier)… so I could not disappoint him, (especially knowing he was going to be disappointed because I wasn’t going to let him outside), so I got him some more. Simon is happy kitty now.

Oh what a beautiful morning…

Although I had to scrape 1/4inch of frost of the windshield this morning, the sun is shining in a fall sort-of way and there are soft wavelettes on the bay. Wilson is out on the deck squinting towards the sun… ears turning towards the sounds of the heights, probably wondering if it would be worth walking out into the frosty grass or not.

Not sure where Simon went already. He checked out Sparky’s food dishes first, then took off. Boomer went out for a few minutes then came back in to finish off Wilson Angel’s leftovers. When it’s this quiet, you can hear him eating.

Ok, Wilson Anne made a decision… it’s a NO to walking through the frosty grass… besides, she probably heard Boomer eating too!

My goal this week is to get a picture of Boomer sitting like a Meerkat, peering over the coffee table to see if there’s any food on it. Such a Boomer! :)

Fun with the kids…

This Sunday morning is pretty quiet (except for the duck hunters, of course) and quite mild. All three kids are wandering outside. It is actually the first time that Simon has been out since I started watching them. The Bay is like glass… the sky is overcast. If I figure out how to use the webcam on this thing, I might be able to capture some images with it.

I gave Boomer 1/2 pill last night… let me know if I should be giving him a whole pill. I will give him another 1/2 this morning when he comes back in.

Oh yeah, got the zero-gravity chair all set for the week. After I opened it up and spread out the beige blanket, Boomer jumped right up there for a nap last evening. He’s such a Boomer :)

Walkin’ the Heights

Today was sunny and windy. Allie was in the mood for a walk so we took off for the heights. Crossing the field behind Lukacs Pottery Studio was a blast. Allie played “I smell” all the way. We walked through Koch’s back yard to avoid Nan’s rotweiller and pit bull and Tom & Jeannie’s lab (retriever?) and sniffed our way around Overlook and back down Sodus Bay Heights. Allie was panting when we got home. I think she’ll take a nap…
