It was so windy, and so cold yesterday… I don’t think I would have needed to put a leash or lead on either dog when we went out, because their goal was to pee and get back inside ASAP! My hands were freezing! One of the cats RAN in when I unlocked the door… probably won’t see him for a while! The wind was blowin’ the barn wall back and forth and pressing in on the plywood window covering in the bottom of the barn. Lee was waiting IN THE STALL for me. None of this coy, nonchalance of waiting outside the barn until he heard the grain bucket… he was there, waiting, and snortin’! Oh, to be in Florida now!

Everyone was at the door when I came in this afternoon. I think they were hoping it would be their people, but they settled for seeing me. We played on the coat for a while… went downstairs and filled the dishes and scooped the pans… they followed me back up to each water dish then we sat and looked out the window. Well, I was trying to look out the window, but Rafael wanted to cuddle… so we did. What a cutie he is. I tried to write a letter while I was there, but the moving pen was just too much for Rafael. I finally gave in and let him have the pen. He took it over to show Skipper and Sergio… he was so excited! I was able to retrieve it before he hid it on me.
